Phase 1: Book Planning: First 6 weeks
We’ll start with a deep dive into clarifying your book’s vision and mapping out its structure. This will help ensure you’re writing toward an eye for publication and that all of your materials adhere to your vision.
We'll work through a specific book planning process during our first 6 weeks together. This will take you approximately 10-15 hours to complete, and will be supported with our first few calls.
Once you've completed all of the materials and I've had a chance to review them, we'll meet for a private 90-minute call to dig into the materials and ensure we have a clear plan for your book. We'll then use this to parse out your writing goals for the next 5 months.
Phase 2: Writing: 5 Months
In this phase, you’ll have 10 biweekly deadlines of 15 pages each, so that you’re writing 30 pages a month (with a goal of 150 pages during these 5 months).
You’ll receive my written feedback on your pages, and each month we’ll meet for a private 50-minute call to discuss any questions.
In addition, each writer will also have dedicated “spotlight” time every other month to discuss questions, sticking points and/or anything else that comes up in between sessions.
We’ll also have monthly teaching calls to address structure, craft, mindset and publishing.
